This project is a 300㎡ indoor arcade system delivered for a shopping mall entertainment floor in the Philippines, targeting children and teenagers as the core user groups. The solution was designed as a compact but fully functional Family Entertainment Center (FEC), combining competitive games, interactive entertainment, and a dedicated ride zone.
The objective was to transform a limited space into a commercially balanced entertainment ecosystem capable of supporting high engagement and stable revenue performance.
The project was developed using a behavior-driven zoning strategy rather than a traditional machine placement layout. The space was structured into three functional layers: revenue-driven competitive zones, engagement-focused interactive areas, and a separated experience zone for bumper cars.
This structure ensures a natural customer flow from entry attraction to interaction, then to competitive gameplay and premium experience areas, maximizing both dwell time and spending efficiency.
The system integrates four key modules: competitive revenue machines including boxing, basketball, and racing simulator; interactive entertainment devices such as singing and fishing machines; children’s attraction rides; and an independent bumper car zone.
The racing simulator was introduced as a premium experience element, enhancing the overall value perception of the arcade and increasing average spending per user.
The final layout successfully improved space efficiency within a 300㎡ footprint and created multiple revenue streams across different entertainment categories. The system achieved a balanced user distribution between families and teenagers, while significantly increasing engagement time and repeat participation.
The combination of competitive, interactive, and ride-based zones ensures stable daily cash flow while maintaining strong long-term operational sustainability.
Beyond project delivery, long-term operational stability is a key part of the value. Continuous technical support and spare parts supply are provided to ensure consistent machine performance and reduce downtime risks.
As the client noted: “Supplier is always ready to help and guide us. Plus sending me my needed spare parts so I can fix the problems with machines.”
This reflects a core principle of the project: a successful arcade system is defined not only by its opening performance, but by its sustained operation and support over time.
