KONGFU FIGHTER Reaction Boxing Machine

No.AMA9810

The KONGFU FIGHTER is a coin-operated reaction boxing machine built for commercial venues. It does not measure how hard a player punches — it measures how fast they react. Pads light up at random and the player punches or kicks the lit target before it moves on, so the score is driven by response speed rather than body strength. The cabinet measures L115 × W87 × H207 cm, weighs 200 kg and draws 900 W.

Description

What Is the KONGFU FIGHTER?

The KONGFU FIGHTER is a single-player, coin-operated sports arcade cabinet that combines boxing and kicking into one reaction game. A round starts the moment a coin drops and the Start button is pressed: illuminated targets appear at random across the cabinet, and every target the player hits in time is scored. Miss the light or react late and the score stops climbing.

Physically it is a freestanding steel cabinet 207 cm tall, with a footprint of roughly one square metre and a machine weight of 200 kg. It belongs to the same commercial family as our other commercial boxing arcade machines, but its game logic is different: this is a speed-and-accuracy game, not a force tester and not a heavy bag.

Who It Is Built For

The KONGFU FIGHTER is designed for operators who need a sports attraction that a wide range of players can actually win at.

Best-fit venues

  • Family entertainment centers (FECs) — works as a sports-zone anchor beside punch-and-kick arcade machines, basketball and air hockey, because a round is short and the queue keeps moving.
  • Shopping malls and cinema lobbies — high footfall, mixed-age audience, and a footprint small enough for a 1.6 m bay.
  • Sports bars, bowling centers and trampoline parks — the level system turns a solo game into a scoreboard argument between friends.
  • Boxing gyms, martial arts studios and reaction-training spaces — a commercial-grade reflex trainer that also earns money from walk-in guests.
  • Distributors and rental operators — one cubic metre of cargo space, standard voltage options, and a cabinet that survives repeated tearing down and rebuilding.

Who actually plays it

Because scoring rewards reaction time instead of force, the machine is not limited to strong adults. Teenagers, women, casual mall visitors and older players can all post a competitive score, which is the single biggest commercial difference between this cabinet and a punch-force machine. Children should be tall enough to reach the upper pads comfortably, and the machine should be supervised in family zones.

How the Game Plays

  1. Insert coins and press Start. The game launches instantly — no mode selection screen, no loading delay, so throughput at peak hours stays high.
  2. Pads light up at random. React fast and strike the lit targets. The quicker the response, the higher the score.
  3. Beat the timer and the target score to advance. Each following level speeds up: flashing patterns get faster and the challenge arrives more frequently.
  4. When time runs out, the game ends. The total score determines the final reward — the higher the player scores, the bigger the prize.

The design is deliberately loop-shaped. A player who misses the target score by a small margin will replay immediately, and the visible level progression gives regulars a personal best to chase. For the operator that means predictable session length, a natural queue, and a reason for the same customer to come back next weekend.

Key Features and What They Mean for Your Floor

Multi-target pad layout. Targets sit at several heights and angles on the cabinet, so players punch high, punch low and kick. One cabinet covers upper-body and lower-body movement instead of one single strike point.

Reaction-based scoring, not force-based. The score rewards speed and accuracy. That widens the player base, shortens the "I can't win" exit, and reduces the queue pressure that force testers create when only the strongest visitor takes the high score.

Level progression with accelerating patterns. Every level increases speed and challenge frequency. Difficulty is what generates replays — the machine gets harder exactly as the player gets better.

Fixed round timer. Sessions are bounded by the timer, which makes play volume and revenue per hour predictable and keeps a crowd rotating on a busy Saturday.

Score-linked rewards. End-of-round rewards can be tied to your redemption model — tickets, prizes or a free game — and the payout logic is set during production to match your venue. Tell us your model before the order is confirmed.

Commercial hardware at a small footprint. A 200 kg steel cabinet on a 1.15 × 0.87 m base: stable under repeated heavy hits, but still installable in a narrow bay where a full-size boxing cabinet will not fit.

Modular pads, sensors and electronics. Consumable parts are reachable from the service side and replaceable as units, so a worn pad does not take the whole cabinet offline.

Configurable payment. Coin acceptor, bill acceptor, card reader and cashless terminal configurations are available; the coin selector can be set to your local currency.

OEM and ODM ready. Cabinet artwork, LED colour scheme, display language, currency, price per play and payout settings can all be adapted to your brand or venue identity.

Reaction Game or Force Tester? Choosing the Right Cabinet

Both are boxing machines, and both are sold to the same buyers, but they earn differently.

Punch force tester KONGFU FIGHTER
What is measured Punch force Reaction speed and hit accuracy
Who can take the top score Usually a strong adult male Any age or body type
Session shape Typically a single punch per play Timed round with advancing levels
Reason to replay "Can I hit harder?" "Can I clear the next level?"
Best location Bar, teen zone, male-skewed traffic FEC, family mall, mixed-demographic floor

If your floor already has a force tester, this cabinet is complementary rather than competitive: it captures the players who walk past the strength machine. The full technical breakdown is in our guide to boxing arcade machines vs punch strength testers.

Space, Power and Site Requirements

Footprint. The cabinet itself occupies 1.15 × 0.87 m, about one square metre. Plan an operating bay of roughly 2.2 m deep × 1.6 m wide (≈3.5 m²): the extra depth is the player's punching and kicking zone, and the extra width keeps the service side reachable. Add a one-metre lane for spectators and queuing if the machine faces a main aisle.

Height and access. The cabinet is 207 cm tall. Confirm every route — mall service lift, corridor, door frame — clears 2.1 m, or plan to tilt the cabinet or remove the upper section during delivery. Check the route before you book freight; a machine that cannot pass a door is an expensive problem to solve on site.

Floor loading. 200 kg spread over about one square metre. Ground-floor slabs and standard mall floors handle this without issue; if you are installing on an upper floor, a mezzanine or a temporary structure, have the venue's structural engineer confirm the point load.

Power. 900 W draws roughly 4.1 A at 220 V and 8.2 A at 110 V. Give the cabinet its own earthed 10 A circuit and avoid sharing a multi-socket strip with high-draw equipment — a shared circuit is the most common cause of "the machine restarted mid-game" complaints.

Environment. Indoor use only, on a level floor, away from direct water sources and sprinkler heads. Keep at least 30 cm behind the cabinet for ventilation and service access.

Placement that earns more. Put the cabinet where it is seen before it is played: beside the redemption counter or at the exit of a paid-attraction zone, not tucked behind soft play where parents cannot see the score screen.

Installation and Daily Operation

Commissioning a single cabinet typically takes one to two hours:

  1. Position the cabinet on a level floor and lock the castors or adjust the feet so it does not rock under impact.
  2. Remove packing and transit protection, then check the cabinet and pads for shipping damage before signing the delivery note.
  3. Connect to the dedicated circuit and confirm the voltage setting matches the site supply.
  4. Set price per play, round duration, target score, difficulty curve and reward payout from the operator menu.
  5. Load ticket or prize stock if a redemption mode is enabled.
  6. Test every pad, the display and the payment path with a live round, then brief staff on the two-minute reset and the pad-cleaning routine.

Routine care. Wipe the pads daily, confirm each target responds during the morning test round, empty and check the coin box, and inspect pad fixings weekly. Pads, sensors, coin mechanisms and power supplies are the parts that wear; a small spare-parts kit on site removes almost all unplanned downtime.

How to Buy

We quote factory-direct from Guangzhou, so pricing depends on configuration rather than a fixed list price.

  1. Send us four things — venue type, destination port, quantity, and the payment method you want.
  2. Receive a quotation with EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP pricing, whichever term suits your import setup.
  3. Confirm the configuration — voltage and plug, payment hardware, display language, artwork, price per play and reward payout.
  4. Place the order and produce — 7 to 15 working days for standard builds; custom artwork and payment hardware add a few days.
  5. Inspect before shipment — we send loading and inspection photos before the container closes.
  6. Ship and commission — export documents, sea or air freight from Guangzhou or Shenzhen, and remote commissioning support on arrival.

Minimum order: 1 unit, with volume pricing from 5 units. Mixed containers with other arcade equipment are common for FEC projects — ask for a consolidated loading plan.

For budget planning, start with our boxing machine price guide; those figures are machine cost only and exclude freight, duty and installation.

Why Buy From AMA Arcade

We build the cabinet, not just the catalogue. AMA Amusement has manufactured arcade equipment since 2009, with a 6,000 m²+ showroom, a 50+ engineer R&D team and 12+ production lines in Panyu, Guangzhou. You are buying from the factory that assembles the machine.

Export experience in 150+ countries. Voltage, plug type, language, currency and payment configuration are set before shipment, so the cabinet arrives ready for your market instead of needing local modification.

Certified and documented. CE, RoHS and SGS compliant builds, with export documentation prepared for customs clearance.

A cabinet designed around revenue, not just gameplay. Adjustable difficulty, adjustable payout and a fixed round timer let you tune the machine to your floor instead of accepting a factory default.

Parts and support after the invoice. Modular pads, sensors and electronics with original spare parts supply, lifetime remote technical support, and commissioning guidance for your staff. Details are on our after-sales support page.

OEM and ODM as standard. If you distribute under your own brand, we adapt cabinet artwork, lighting, language and payment configuration — and return a production drawing before anything is cut.

One project partner instead of six suppliers. FEC operators buy boxing machines, redemption games, playground and card systems in the same cycle; our one-stop FEC solutions team can consolidate the load and the documentation.

FAQ

What is the KONGFU FIGHTER? It is a coin-operated reaction boxing machine for commercial venues. Players punch and kick illuminated targets that appear at random; the score depends on reaction speed and accuracy, and each level increases the speed of the light patterns.

Is it a punch force tester or a reaction game? A reaction game. A force tester ranks players by how hard they hit; the KONGFU FIGHTER ranks them by how fast and accurately they respond across multiple targets. That is why casual players, teenagers and women can all post competitive scores.

How many players can play at once? One player per round. Competition comes from the score display: players take turns and compare totals, which keeps a queue engaged without needing a two-player cabinet.

How much floor space does it need? The cabinet occupies 1.15 × 0.87 m, about 1 m². Allow a 2.2 × 1.6 m operating bay for the punching and kicking zone plus service access, and a further one metre for spectators in high-traffic locations.

What power supply does it need? 900 W rated power, available in 110–240 V builds with the plug type configured for your country. Plan a dedicated earthed 10 A circuit: current draw is about 4.1 A at 220 V and 8.2 A at 110 V.

Can the machine be customized for our brand? Yes. OEM and ODM options include cabinet artwork and vinyl wrap, LED colour, display language, currency, price per play, reward payout and payment hardware. Send your brand guidelines and we return a production drawing.

What is the minimum order and lead time? One unit, with volume pricing from five units. Standard production takes 7 to 15 working days; custom artwork, language or payment configuration adds a few days.

How is it shipped and installed? Crated with protective film, cardboard and a wooden frame or plywood case, labelled fragile, with loading photos before dispatch. Sea or air freight from Guangzhou or Shenzhen; installation is positioning, levelling, power connection and menu configuration, typically one to two hours.

What support is included after delivery? Original spare parts supply, lifetime remote technical support and staff commissioning guidance. Pads, sensors, coin mechanisms and power supplies are the wear items — we recommend a small on-site spares kit with every order.
